How 'bout a listing of a bunch of sites with HEROES-related info (which may or may not be
SPOILERS)? Well, without further ado, here is the list, which I can add to or modify (I've just noticed/used the ones posted more than other ones):
Besides the new episode descriptions (if a new episode airs) that you can read every Friday from
the NBC Primetime Schedule at nbcumv (and I've edited the search details a little, so it'll look different compared to the nbcumv list at the this
mark) at least 2 weeks before the airdate (unless a "sweeps" week and/or month is coming up, and then the listings are published earlier), you can also read an episode detail usually a little less than 2 weeks earlier than an airdate from
the TVGuide HEROES episode list. It looks like, at least more recently, that at least the titles of the new episodes also appear on this page with the
HEROES Storylines (and you can click on the dates for the episode descriptions when they are available). Also, for some nostalgia, you can look at earlier incarnations of the nbc HEROES site (but not the original one from July of last year - though, I have a local copy of most of it) at archive.org
here (asterisks indicate when the site was changed).
This next group of links let you read what some of TPTB with HEROES have to say:
Tim Kring's "blog" at the nbc HEROES forum (posted by nbcskampy, for "extra-ordinary friends", which could be implying that members at other fansites must be "seemingly" ordinary, but the first post only has entries after the end of the first hiatus and after the second one started, so far)
Greg Beeman's "Beaming Beeman" blog (which usually has new entries on Mondays) -
New: Beeman here at 9thW!
Jesse Alexander's blog (he also helps with LOST)
(Also) new: Jesse here at 9thW!
The "Let's Talk About HEROES" thread in the Tim Sale forum, and, for a mark to see some free HEROES artwork that was given away, see
this mark for HEROES ArtOllie Grigsby's posts here at 9thWonders, since, like EFHutton, when he posts something, you should read it, and currently, as
"crew", his posts cannot be found as one of the
HEROES "Scribblers"If ya wanna learn more about the blacked-out text in graphic novel #28, along with other insights into the graphic novels he's illustrated (note: this talented illustrator also showcases some of his work that isn't related to HEROES), visit
Jason Badower's blog.
Update, of sorts... I just found these "blogs" for
Greg Grunberg and
Masi Oka! Well, ya have the links, just in case those blogs get any activity, anyway...

Next up are links to some official or unofficial HEROES sites:

Cogito Ergo Sum with some interesting messages, which are discussed
here. As an aside, when I first saw
wolfbro7's announcement, I started making
this now closed topic when I didn't notice any discussion about the first letter (and you'll notice I guessed that the wrong characters may have written it - I sorta thought it would tie-in to the
Saving Charlie novel...)

Claire's myspaceZach's myspaceHana's myspaceRecently, in January of '07, NBC has made "electronic presskits" for their shows at
http://nbc.epk.tv, and you can see (
for review purposes only) a small .wmv version of the promos, previews, or other footage
here. (Tangent…) It seems not a lot o' people have noticed nbc.epk.tv, as you can tell from this
google search for the term "nbc.epk.tv" (in
this screenshot, you can see that although I just posted about the videos for HEROES, ep 17, "Company Man" recently, google has already found it!). It also shows that it was more likely (at the time, when the identities of the characters were unknown) that Ausiello and not Kristin at eonline is correct about who is going to play Lindy, with the guesses of
Malcolm McDowell and
Eric Roberts, since the footage shows Eric as Thompson...
Youtube will also eventually post the videos from those epks... The full episodes at nbc come and go, but if you wanted the list of the HEROES episodes at itunes (at least for season 1, which are currently $1.99 each), then go to
iTunes. Also, I didn't know how long this'll last, or if tptb'll switch over all of the eps to the (free, according to
this article)
hulu site, but next is the snipped url to
the HEROES eps at Unbox, if they get 'em longer than iTunes. They are currently $1.99 there, too.
ETA that you can now get the individual eps the Wednesday after an episode airs from
the HEROES section at Netflix.
Anyway, you can also catch the preview vids and get more of the HEROES-related scoop from sites such as
IESB (Independent Entertainment something-or-other),
CBR (a weak search for HEROES-related stuff, and could be improved),
SHH (SuperHeroHype!), Movie Web
News and
Interviews (the search criteria expects a total number of articles, so I just picked 1000 to cover the dynamic list for a bit; however, it will return results of up to 25 articles/page, and only the correct number of articles will actually be listed),
iFMagazine (which has some good interviews),
WU (Wizard Universe),
Scifi.com (which also isn't the most efficient search, but they use Google, although this
Google search of Scifi for HEROES has different search criteria),
TVAddict, Entertainment Weekly's
Follow the Helix, or
Yahoo TV. The next link goes to
the HEROES scoop with the L.A. Times "showtracker" blog.
The links in the next "section" are more or less for spoilers which may or may not come to pass:
Comic Book Resources (the above-mentioned CBR) also has a weekly interview session posted on Monday with HEROES writers Joe Pokaski and Aron Coleite discussing the upcoming episode, and, if they keep updating the page, the index of "Behind the Eclipse" interviews can be found
here.

For some press releases about HEROES from nbcumv (though the search could probably be improved), check out
HEROES Headlines (
HEROES NBCUMV will return any mention of the keyword, "heroes", in any of the NBCUMV content - so it may have hits which don't apply).
A good source for news about HEROES from "news" sites is a google news search for "HEROES NBC" (without quotes), sorted by date. So, if you wanted to see what's found at news sites, usually within minutes of when they are published online, check out
this link for HEROES Google News.
I posted about TxVoodoo's Sparklies gallery
here, but since it has been updated recently (2 days before this was posted) with "Parasite" pics, I made a new link
here, fer your convenience... Also, next is the link to
the HEROES Events page at TxVoodoo's Sparklies Gallery, which includes pics from the HEROES World Tour. The promo pics for Season 2 eps can be found at the following snipped url:
http://snurl.com/HEROES_Pics2 Also, the Season 2 General Promo Pics are at the bottom of the first page. Please give credit to TxVoodoo for providing them if you use 'em!

So, I hope this helps, and/or can be a resource fer ya! And if you haven't done any bookmarking or can't remember all of the link names, they can also be found with this link:
http://snurl.com/HEROES_NewsNote: I made "snipped urls" since they could be easier to remember, and they either are redirects to the site that is sought, or, in the case of the last one and the old 9thW spoiler thread link or any that say they go to a mark, they go to a "trail" or "mark" made for the information. Oh, and if the snurl.com domain is down (and it happens once in a while), add an "ip", as in "http://snipurl.com", and the links should still work. Sorry 'bout the possible hassles...
The link for this thread is http://snurl.com/HEROES_Scooop (with 3 o's), and a way to "preview" the sites to determine whether or not it's worth it to click away to visit 'em is at http://snurl.com/HEROES_AAG with AAG short for "At-A-Glance", or check out the following
