Tetra Tech demotes president

Tetra Tech Inc. has demoted Sam W. Box from his position of president and reassigned to vice president of risk management after it was discovered that Box's academic credentials were misrepresented.
The move was disclosed in a filing Monday with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Tetra Tech Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Dan Batrack has assumed the role of president.
In his new role, Box will be responsible for contract and proposal risk management, project management training and coordination of international project risk management.
Pasadena-based Tetra Tech (NASDAQ: TTEK) provides consulting, engineering and consulting services, with about 8,500 employees and 275 offices worldwide.
