    Beautiful work by Booka Shade listening to the zabiela soon. It’s a damn shame they always decide to include the audience noise in the broadcast, it detracts from the sets and makes them harder to listen to.

    I disagree Alan… It’s nice with a bit of ambience/audiance noise. Makes makes it a bit more live and alive. Great set from Zabiela. It’s amazing to hear how he can include so many genres in a one hour set ranging from tech-house, breaks to almost trance.. A truly amazing DJ

    not really though booka shade see themselves as a live music act, so obviously they are going to play mostly there own tracks. You wouldn’t go to see an indie/rock band and expect them to play everyone else’s songs.

    Not impressed with Booka Shade - thought it was boring actually. James Zabiela on the other hand is just amazing! He consistently puts out excellent sets. Probably helped he worked at a record store and got pick the best stuff from every shipment! :)

    The reason why radio 1 include the crowd noise is to stop people sampling from their broadcasts. This is fair enough in my opinion as a lot of the time the music included in these things is very new and often being tried for the first time. Let these struggling producers at least complete the release of the music before it gets ripped off and put on file sharing websites!

    I was at Glasto and saw the Booka Shade performance. It was out of this world - simply awesome!

    I actually really like the BBC recording as it brings back memories of what I personally think was the best performance of any artist at the festival this year.

    I wish there was a video instead as it would be better for those who don’t like the audience noise - because then they’d be able to see how incredibly good this set was and how everyone at the gig were overcome by it.
